The Green Paper on the Development and Promotion of Tourism in South Africa – now open for public comment.
FGASA as an organisation has deep connections to the tourism sector in South Africa and working relationships with both the Department of Tourism (NDT) as well as the provincial Registrars for the NDT.
As professionals within the tourism sector it is our responsibility to uphold and develop tourism within the country, after all, none of us would be here were it not for tourists.
The NDT gazetted the “The Green Paper on the Development and Promotion of Tourism in South Africa” for public comment before the new policies come into place. We as FGASA want to ensure that this reaches as many of our members, friends and industry stakeholders as possible. It’s important for us all to contribute to the development of tourism in South Africa.
We would like to invite you all to send through your comments to us at FGASA so that we may present a formal submission for comment as a united front in delivering feedback to the NDT. As key role players in the tourism sector we believe that, together, we can make a difference where it matters most and assist with growth and development.
