FGASA Board of Directors is pleased to announce key leadership appointments as we continue our commitment to excellence within the industry. We welcome Juan Pinto as our new Chairman of the Board and Andrew Kearney as Vice Chairman. Both leaders are highly respected figures in the guiding and hospitality sectors, and their extensive experience will be invaluable as we move forward as a Professional Body.

We would also like to extend our sincere gratitude to outgoing Chair Stephen Beal for his dedicated service over the past five years. His leadership and significant contributions have been instrumental in elevating FGASA to new heights. Mr. Beal will remain on the board as a director for the remainder of his term, ensuring a smooth transition while new nominations are considered later this year.

We look forward to collaborating with Juan, Andrew, and Solomon as they help shape the future of FGASA and inspire the next generation of nature guides through their exemplary leadership and dedication.

In keeping with our commitment to innovation and growth, FGASA has introduced a policy requiring the Board of Directors Chair to step down every three years. This policy is designed to ensure a continuous influx of fresh ideas and strategic direction for the association as it develops as a leading professional body. The nomination and election process for additional board directors and regional representatives, will be communicated soon. For any queries, please direct your correspondence to md@fgasa.org.za.
