Well done to Brett Heasman ! Brett has been appointed to the FGASA Executive Committee and will represent the Lowveld South region. Brett, in his role as an Executive member, takes the responsibility of representing FGASA and all its members within the Lowveld South region, whilst contributing to and making decisions at committee level. FGASA Qualified, (Professional Field Guide, Professional Trails Guide, SKS Birding, Assessor and Trainer ) Brett is a stellar example of the FGASA standard and recently joined Trails Guide Mentor fold as well. We wish you well Brett, and look forward to your valuable input.
We sadly say good bye to Mark Heistein and Grant Parker, who represented the Cape and Lowveld North Regions respectively. They made a massive contribution to FGASA management and to guides in those regions. Thank you to both Mark and Grant, we appreciate all the time and effort you dedicated to FGASA on the Executive Committee. Ashwell Glasson continues to represent FGASA and will play a more important role in the Lowveld North Region.
Armin Junkuhn has stepped down as a Director, but continues to support and represent FGASA in Namibia. Armin has made good progress in that region and we are privileged to have him remain on the Executive Committee. Thank you too Armin, for the years you served on the Board. We welcome Bernice Kelly to represent management on the Board.
