Junior FGASA has partnered with Kids in the Wild to produce an illustrated Pangolin Learner Manual to compliment the revised Pangolin course for junior FGASA fans. A year in the making, the manual and revised workbooks will finally hit our bookshelves by the end of this month. The Pangolin course is a self study option for learners aged 8-12 that will be adopted in many homes and schools. It has been a very exciting journey and we are privileged to work with Tarry, owner of Kids in the Wild, who created the fabulous content and images in the manual and workbooks.
The 12 modules will take junior FGASA learners on a wonderful journey with the hope that they will be curious and responsible in contributing to making a difference in our natural world. We also hope this will generate an interest in pursuing a future in Tourism, Guiding and Conservation
Phase 1 of the project includes an optional online series of on demand lectures that will be rolled out by Kids in the Wild in March, and later by other endorsed Junior FGASA providers. Phase 2 will launch practical experience days, camps and workshops for all juniors to enjoy outdoors in parks and reserves.
Phase 3 launches a revised Nature Ambassador manual and course for high school learners later this year.
